I am a US-born, Berlin-based writer and translator.
My first novel, Die grüne Grenze was nominated for the Klaus Michael Kühne Debut Prize 2017 and the Preis der Leipziger Buchmesse 2018. My second novel, Das Gift der Biene was chosen for the LiteraTour Nord 2019. In October 2022, my essay Die Goldküste. Eine Irrfahrt will appear in the nature writing series “Naturkunden” (Matthes und Seitz).
My most recent translation is The Beloved of the Dawn by Franz Fühmann (Seagull Books, 2022).
I also run the project Waldschaffen.de to create connections between Berlin’s cultural scene and environmental/forestry projects.
